I have a doctor father.

He usually laughs very much and always makes me laugh.

He smiles with curved eyes, which I like best.

But lately his laughter has diminished

and he often comes home late.

Waiting for Dad to Come Home has been entirely written and illustrated by the Changjiang Children’s Publishing House’s picture book team following the Spring Festival quarantine. Celebrating the hard work of the medical professionals at the frontlines of the Covid-19 outbreak, the love and support of their families and introduces personal prevention measures and introduction to the virus suitable for young readers.

Written in conjunction with the Changjiang Picture Book Research Institute, which collected real stories from families of frontline personnel in public and medical services.
