Qijun Wang has a Master’s Degree in Architecture and Design Theory from the School of Architecture and Engineering of Chongqing and a doctoral degree in Architecture History and Theory from Tsinghua University’s School of Architecture. Qijun served as the architectural director and moderator for 12 episodes of the CCTV series, “Chinese Folk House Talk”, covering 18 Chinese provinces. Currently a professor at the China Central Academy of Fine Arts, he also serves as the director and professor of the Institute of Chinese Architecture and Culture of Wuhan University and a professor at Fuzhou University and Beijing Construction University. He is also a member of the Chinese National Architectural Style Art Committee and the editorial board of the China Architecture Art Yearbook.
