The Propolingo team is perfectly placed to provide a comprehensive service to our clients, with an office in London, the headquarters of our parent company Lan-Bridge Communications Ltd based in Chengdu, China, and teams across 15 other offices around China, including Beijing and Shanghai.

Siqi Chen (Sybil)

Director
Based in London, Siqi is the director of Propolingo. Siqi graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA in International Communications before achieving a MSc in Gender Studies at LSE. After being based in the Chengdu office for four year, she moved to London to establish Propolingo on behalf of our parent company.

Amy Hawkins

Senior Rights Manager
Based in our London office, Amy is responsible for Propolingo’s international rights service, managing the licensing of all translation rights for our clients.   Amy graduated from the University of Winchester in 2007 with a BA in English, and went on to earn Master’s degree in Publishing at UCL in 2013. She has worked in the rights departments of both independent publishers and one of the big four, going from Rights Assistant to selling translation rights in a range of titles across trade adult non-fiction, fiction, children’s, illustrated, specialist non-fiction and academic publishing, plus the occasional gift title. Moving to Propolingo, Amy brings her extensive experience to establishing Propolingo’s rights team in London.

Joanna Wang

Rights Manager
Based in our Shanghai office, Joanna has been working with our clients across publishers, journals and cultural companies for book translation and rights export.

Katrina Shang

Account Manager
Katrina is an Account Manager based in our Hangzhou office. She knows well about the translation standards and requirements of different language pairs. She can help to arrange translation and copyrights for publishers in East China.

Jiawen Deng

Project Manager
Based in Lan-Bridge Communication’s Chengdu HQ, Jiawen is the project manager for the Lan-Bridge's book translation department. Jiawen graduated from Complutense University of Madrid with a Master’s degree in Documentation, Libraries and Archives Management. Now, as part of the Lan-Bridge team, she oversees more than 300 translation projects per year.

Wei Ou

Account Manager
Has been working in media industry for more than 10 years, Wei has rich experiences in cooperation with Chinese TV channels, publishers, film and television companies. Based in our Nanning office, he is responsible for managing our clients for translation and translation rights of films and TV plays, animation and books.

Monica Ma

Account Manager
Monica is a client account manager based in our Tianjin office. She is responsible for handling enquires from Chinese publishers and cultural companies regarding book translation and rights export, especially titles across social science, economic and business and psychology.

Jacky Zhou

Account Manager
Based in our Chengdu office, Jacky Zhou works with publishers in southwest China and help to arrange book translation and copyrights export.

Yalin Li

Funds and Grants Consultant
Being educated in China and in Italy, Yalin can speak Chinese, English and Italian. She is an account manager based in Beijing office and responsible for books translation, rights export, national publishing funds and grants consultancy.
